Daniel Oliveira trains all of Timber Creek’s horses through DND Performance Horses, the business he founded with his wife, Deziraye. His background brings together reining, roping, colt starting, and reined cow horse development.
Raised in Brazil, Daniel worked with performance horses before coming to the United States in 2016 to start reining colts for Shawn Flarida. In 2017, he moved to Texas and worked with roping horses at Fred Werneck’s ranch. Those experiences helped shape the foundation he brings to each horse today.
Ima Dirty Reyed Head is owned by Melissa A. McCaffity. These results reflect Daniel’s wider training and competition experience.
For Timber Creek, Daniel’s work centers on confidence, responsiveness, and a strong foundation for long-term performance. He trains every horse in the program, bringing attention to the individual horse from daily development to preparation for the show pen.
His experience across disciplines supports clear communication and thoughtful progression as each horse develops. Meet the Timber Creek horses and follow their profiles for training and competition updates.
